'Comics on the Run' started in February 2003 with the concept of taking mainstream stand-up comedy to regional and rural Australia at an affordable price.  It was the brainchild of Barry, who grew up in rural Scotland and understands only too well how country towns are often neglected when it comes to live entertainment.

The shows have received rave reviews over the last decade and feature a varying line up of Australia's best comedians. Barry manages, promotes, produces and hosts every event. 

'Comics on the Run' have toured as far West as Broken Hill and South to Eden and North to Coffs, with some of Australia's best support and headline comedians. 

Barry is also a big supporter of fundraising for organisations and donates his time and show door takings for a good cause.
